Trigger released only two albums (of which the world only knows the second, including myself until a few years ago). They were signed by Casablanca, had cool stage names and were going to be the next big thing. Don’t know why it never happened because they sure didn’t lack the sound, style or talent. “Deadly Weapon” is my favourite off the album with its heavy, almost funky riff. To my great surprise, while I was working on my rendition, I see that not only would the CD finally be re-issued by Rock Candy, but the band had reformed! The vocals and guest solo on this one is provided by Blindestone’s Martin J Andersen who gave it almost a Frank Marino-ish touch.
